Hot on the heels of winning the prestigious Hunter Women’s New Enterprise of Excellence Award, Voicemap is again in the limelight as a finalist in the Australian Anthill Magazine’s PriceWaterhouse Coopers Cool Company Awards. Voicemap was one of three finalists in the “X-Factor” category. Out of a field of more than 650 nominations from across Australia, Voicemap (whose company Systabytes is commercialising the system) was one of 18 finalist and only one of three in the category “X-Factor”. Attending the high-profile event hosted in Melbourne, Voicemap founder and company director Dr Maggie Haertsch explained:
